Question:
For any given injury, how long and how frequently should each icing session be?
Answer:
If you have sustained an acute injury it is important to ice 15 – 20 minutes every hour. For chronic injuries, previous injuries, or if you are icing for prevention then apply ice for 15 – 20 minutes at the completion of each exercise session.
